Architect
Join an award-winning firm shaping the built environment through bold, environmentally sensitive design. SWABACK, founded by Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice Vernon Swaback, has over 45 years of experience in master planning, architecture, and landscape architecture.
The Role
SWABACK is currently seeking a full-time Architect with strong design skills, a curious mind, proven experience in the studio and in the field, and with highly competent technical skills.
Working With Us, You Will:
- Work in a collaborative team environment assisting in the development and production of conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and design details and construction documents.
- Coordinate drawings and drawings of other disciplines/consultants.
- Coordinate specifications with drawings to meet project requirements.
- Participate in construction administration, including preparing sketches and addendums and visiting the construction site to gather information.
- Prepare presentation drawings and otherwise assist in presentations both internally and externally.
- Research information and create graphics for inclusion in marketing proposals and materials.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years related architectural experience with a professional degree in Architecture
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc..) and Microsoft PowerPoint - The ability to contribute to and participate within a team environment
- A passion for design
- Curiosity
- Accountability for performance
- Ability to work on multiple projects with demanding deadlines

Landscape Architect
Join an award-winning firm shaping the built environment through bold, environmentally sensitive design. SWABACK, founded by Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice Vernon Swaback, has over 45 years of experience in master planning, architecture, and landscape architecture.
The Role
We’re looking for a creative, driven Landscape Architect to join our collaborative team. You’ll work on high-profile projects—resort communities, institutional campuses, large-scale planning—through all phases: concept, design, documentation, and construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to public and private projects from concept to construction
- Develop design solutions across varied project scales
- Prepare detailed construction documents
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and other disciplines
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s (or higher) in Landscape Architecture
3–5 years of experience preferred
Software & Technical Skills
- Required: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite
- Preferred: Civil 3D, Revit, Rhino, Land F/X
- Hand drawing skills a plus

- Strong graphic and visual communication
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Team-oriented, organized, and proactive
